Business Manager’s Report for December

 

Dear Members,

 

A few things I’d like everyone to know prior to the end of the year.

 

·       Our raise as of January 1, 2013 is 3.3%.

·       You need to use your footwear allowance before the end of 2013

·       Next year (2013) is the last year of our contract.

·       We will begin negotiations for a new contract next year.

·       Prior to negotiations a survey will be available for you to fill out on-line.

·       Next year is also an election year, the main races are for Mayor and two City Council positions.

          These races are very important for all of us, so we need to be actively Campaigning for our endorsed candidates.

 

As you can tell, next year will be a very busy year.

 

Finally we want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
